About Emma

Emma has been working as a dietitian for more than 10 years and is dedicated to providing holistic approach to nutrition.

Emma comes with both personal, lived experience and years of professional work in the disability and aged care space. Her work has a strong focus on a person-centered approach to care, building capacity, optimising quality of life and promoting independence for as long as possible.

Emma has a long history volunteering and working with older adults in the community and the aged care setting. Over the years Emma has met some wonderful people and it has been these people who have inspired and helped her to realise her life's work is to be helping and working with the aging population and those living with a disability.

Initially, Emma opened her own business as a means of connecting older adults living in the community and their families with accurate and trustworthy nutritional information and dietetic support. This has extended to in home supports and services for people living with a disability. The services provided are designed to help bridge the gap for access to dietetic services for adults who find accessing or attending community services difficult. Emma will come to you in the comfort of your own home or residence and provide practical support and advice, specific to your own unique needs and will tailor it to your home environment - because she will be right there with you.

Emma specialises in nutrition for dementia and can provide in home assessments for people living with, or caring for someone who has dementia. Emma has again embarked on further studies in this field and has completed a Diploma of Dementia Care.
